We all recognise that natural
daylight is a healthier and more comfortable light both to work under and for
hobby or craft activities. The most obvious advantages are the ability to see better in
natural light and to be able to see colours accurately. |
Moreover, the qualities
of daylight which include high contrast and low glare, result in reduced eye strain, less
stress and higher work output. |

Most lights, be they
tungsten, fluorescent or halogen emit a red/yellow glow. While
this creates a warm comfortable ambience for dark winter nights, the distortion created is
stressful to the eyes, and can be disastrous for people working with colour or doing
detailed work. All the bulbs and tubes we supply and fit to our lamps are very similar to
natural daylight and retain most of its benefits. |
