For beginners….
 | You
may have just bought your embellishing machine and want to know how to get
started. This course will give you the opportunity to explore fabrics and
techniques which work well with
the embellisher. The afternoon
session is a time to experiment to make ‘sumptuous surfaces’ which can
be appliquéd or used for cards.

For those with some experience….
| You
may have been on the basic course outlined above and would now like to
experiment with ; |
| Creating
a landscape
|
| Applique
a bag, cushion or garment
|
| Or
make a piece of jewellery
|
For teachers either primary or secondary….
| You
may have acquired some embellishing machines for your school and want some
ideas as to how to integrate them into either the Art or Textile schemes of
work
|
| The
course can include techniques to create surface decoration
|
| It
can also be structured as an integrated theme with other textile techniques
|
| Or
it can be based on an artist or source material
|
|
